NBA superstar Kobe Bryant is in Manila, Philippines to promote Lenovo’s latest line of mobile phones. Lenova, a China-based tech company, has chosen Bryant to be their international brand ambassador.
During his visit, he made a stop at a Lenovo store at the Mall of Asia and then attended a press conference held at Resorts World Manila. While there, he addressed questions about his injury and gave advice to local basketball players.
Bryant commented, "My rehab has been great. I'm not only good but I'm way away ahead of schedule." He then went on to congratulate Gilas Pilipinas on their recent FIBA Asia Championship. He also spoke about what drives him to remain competitive as he reaches the twilight of his career.
This is Bryant's 6th visit to the Philippines. His last trip was in 2011 when he toured for a Nike event and played exhibition games with other NBA players.
