one of the best islands in the world, this stunning island is a must visit for
any solo traveler. Coron and El Nido are two must visit places in Palawan and
you can take the overnight ferry between the two.

to party and meet people, Puerto Princesa is the place to go being home to a plethora
of clubs and party bars. It’s known to be super safe, you can great cheap
accommodation and you can visit the Puerto Princesa underground river which is
a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Bohol
If you sit
at the other end of the spectrum and want to get away from all the noisy clubs,
Bohol is home to some of the most conservative people in the Philippines. It
has no nightlife at all, making it perfect to take some chill out time and feel
ultra-safe. You can take a tour around the island in just a day, but many
historic sites crumbled in the 2013 earthquake.
Boracay
Known as
one of the most beautiful Islands in the Philippines, this one is another party destination and a great place to visit to
meet other travelers. Here you can enjoy white sand beaches fringed by palm
trees, restaurants and bars on the West side and head to the east side Bulabong
beach for some water sport action.
Davao City
Considered
the safest city in the Philippines due to its very strict mayor, you can travel
around this city solo without fear. The crime rate is nearly non-existent,
there is a strict no smoking policy and there was even talks of curfews being
implemented.
You can
enjoy a ton of interesting tourist attractions here including; a trip to Mount
Apo (which is the tallest mountain in the Philippines), the Eden Nature Park,
Davao Crocodile Park, the Philippine Eagle Centre and the Island Garden City of
Samal. Thrill seekers can even find zip lining and white water rafting on the
powerful Davao River.
